About the Youth Orchestra
The Canyon County Youth Orchestra provides young musicians across Canyon County with high-quality orchestral training and performance opportunities. Our program is designed to develop technical skill, musical expression, and ensemble experience in a supportive and challenging environment.
Through weekly rehearsals, sectional coaching, and regular performances, students gain the confidence and experience needed to grow as musicians and contribute meaningfully to the musical life of our community.

We believe every young musician deserves the opportunity to experience the power of orchestral music. Our vision is to build a vibrant, inclusive youth orchestra program that nurtures talent, builds character, and creates lifelong appreciation for the arts across Canyon County and the greater Treasure Valley.
What We Do
Weekly Rehearsals
Students rehearse weekly under the guidance of experienced conductors and sectional coaches, building strong ensemble skills and musical discipline.
Performances & Showcases
The Youth Orchestra performs throughout the year, including collaborative concerts with the Canyon County Symphony and community events across the Treasure Valley.
